More About

Why We Started DT Lending

My background includes an Engineering and MBA from the University of Michigan. I was with the Ford Motor Company for 39 years, and did consulting, financial planning after retiring. After some time with financial planning and real estate, I decided to open my Mortgage Brokerage.

I started Dave Thomas Lending, LLC and DT Lending, LLC as a lower cost alternative for the individual who is looking for a highly competitive mortgage in todays hyper mortgage environment.

No processing fees and origination fees below the national average, provides our customer with a lower mortgage cost and lower closing costs.



Today's inflationary market has caused interest rates to spike! The typical mortgage is now between 4.0% to 5.5% (As of April 29, 2022)  and will probably go above 6% in the near future. 

I can't tell you when it will stop, but the last time we were in a stagflation economy was in 1978, and mortgage rates spiked over 15%.

We have several products to help you in your home search! Several of the lenders we are affiliated with have a lock and shop mortgage product that allows you to lock in your rate now and shop for your new home for up to 180 days.  Programs and rates are constantly changing and that is why you need a competent mortgage partner to develop the mortgage plan that is right for you.
